In Nomine Patris, et Filiii, (+) et Spiritus Sancti, Amen

"Dearly Beloved, Friends, Relatives, Honoured Guests:

Blessed are those of you that who come in the spirit of love. Let us rejoice and feel the sanctity of the union of two souls about to be blended into one.
THE CONVOCATION
On behalf of_____and__ and their families, we extend a warm welcome to all of you and we are elated that you could be with us for this joyous marriage celebration. I also wish to say to the family and friends that this is your service as well as theirs. The future of their home together depends also upon you as well as them. No marriage can thrive alone, for through your thoughts, feelings and deeds, you can strengthen their bonds and commitments they are about to make. They welcome your wisdom and strength to help their love to grow, for it is through this love that they themselves have grown.

Welcome, and thank you for attending and sharing this joyous moment. A noble purpose of life is to share love, love is not to be kept, it is to be shared. Your presence here [today, evening] is an indication of your desire to support their union each in your own ways, with love.

Love has a broader meaning than just our personal feelings for each other. While love is difficult to explain or describe, each of us recognizes it as the ingredient of life that motivates and leads us to goals above and beyond our individual ambitions.

"Almighty God, cleanse my heart and my lips that I may worthily bless and proclaim this Sacred and Holy Union for these thy servants"
